Surrey Looking for Multiple Content Writers [Vacancy]

Aspiring football journalist? Informed fan? Esteemed blogger? International Surrey Football is on the lookout for new contributors and fresh perspectives on the game in Surrey to contribute fresh and more localised content for our website.

We’re currently on the lookout for writers to bring fresh ideas and push the site forward. While you don’t have to be a seasoned professional journalist to write for ISF, we look for writers with some level of experience, or a very detailed knowledge of the game and a keen analytical eye perhaps looking to appeal to a new audience, whether it’s content focused towards Surrey’s non-league football scene, covering the world of non-FIFA football, the history of football in Surrey or something a little different.

We want to share the stories and the goings-on with football in Surrey and non-FIFA while sharing our own journey along the way. It’s intended that we’ll help to attract a larger, more regular viewership to the Surrey website by covering varied content that may help introduce those not previously aware of International Surrey Football through their interest in their respective non-league teams.

We’re looking for team, or preferably league specific writers who may already be writing content about the National League, Southern League, Isthmian League, Combined Counties, Southern Combination, South East Counties or Hellenic League or the countless women’s teams in Surrey and want an additional outlet to raise awareness of their name and content.

This role is ideal for programme writers or bloggers from across the county already providing content on their respective clubs looking for a new outlet for their work.

All writers will be credited in all articles, and while we can’t currently promise any payment for the content beyond the promotion of your work, particularly popular articles may help lead to performance-based payments for any future content and we will share article views with writers upon request.

Anyone interested in providing content for International Surrey Football can get in touch at info@intsurreyfootball.co.uk to discuss
