Surrey vs Hampshire Charity Match to take place 15 May 2022

International Surrey Football is pleased to announce that our postponed men’s charity match against Hampshire Charity FC, which had originally been scheduled for May 2020, but postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, has now been confirmed to take place on Sunday 15th May 2022 and will be played at the Woking College 3G pitch in Old Woking.

The game is to be played in aid of two charities, St. Catherine’s Hospice and Crohn’s & Colitis UK, and will see teams representing the counties of Surrey and Hampshire play their first friendly. Surrey will be represented by its senior men’s representative team organised by International Surrey Football, members of the World Unity Football Alliance and debuted in 2018, while Hampshire will be represented by Hampshire Charity FC, which debuted in 2021 in the National Affinity Cup, where they reached the Third Round in the tournament’s debut season.

The long-overdue fixture, originally scheduled to take place 2-years prior, will be held at Woking College, home to Woking FC’s women’s and academy teams, and run by Cardinals in the Community.

The game will be free admission for all but donations on arrival are encouraged, only cash donations can be accepted on matchday through collection buckets, with 100% of the money raised on the day being donated, being split 50/50 between the two charities. Match programmes will also be available to purchase on the day for £2.

Limited free parking will be available on the day, with the nearest train station being Woking, but with Old Woking served by regular bus services from Woking Town Centre as well.
