International Surrey Football is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Nash as the new manager of Surrey’s senior men’s team.
Matthew Nash who has previously managed a number of clubs in Surrey and Sussex, including Farleigh Rovers, Tooting & Mitcham Wanderers, Crawley Down, Netherne and many more during his time in coaching will be joining International Surrey Football for the departed Matt Dilger. Despite the decision to step down from the role voluntarily last month, it is expected that Matt Dilger may continue to provide occasional assistance for the team’s recently launched video service, Surrey Football TV, which is hoping to expand content over the course of the 2020/21 season.
Matt Nash will be preparing the team for a busy summer in 2021 with a number of fixtures already scheduled or being organised to take place in 2021 including 2 friendlies, our rearranged charity match against a Hampshire XI side as well as 1 additional friendly to be confirmed ahead of the postponed Southern Frontier Cup that is also currently being arranged for next year and expected to still take place at Whyteleafe FC.
As well as this, the team is planning to take part in the inaugural edition of the first WUFA World Series tournament organised by the World Unity Football Alliance, details regarding the tournament will be announced in due course but is currently scheduled to take place in 2021.
