International Surrey Football is pleased to announce that Farnham Town Football Club will host the upcoming Surrey vs Hampshire XI charity match in support of Crohn’s & Colitis UK and St Catherine’s Hospice. A number of further details are expected ahead of matchday.
The game will be Surrey’s first in the western half of Surrey with Farnham Town Football Club being based within 2 miles of the Surrey/Hampshire, with the town of Aldershot being the closest Hampshire settlement to the venue for the May fixture.
Farnham Town FC, founded in 1906 have played at Memorial Ground since 1947, originally used by Farnham United Breweries FC, and currently holds up to 1,500 spectators.
Farnham Town FC, was the westernmost ground in Surrey used in the National League System until this season following the official opening of Badshot Lea Football Club’s new Westfield Lane ground in Wrecclesham.
